Coconut Grove

Known as Miami’s original neighborhood, Coconut Grove was established in the 1800s by a worldly group of pioneers, sailors, artists, naturalists, millionaires, and intellectuals.  Along the shoreline of Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove is an upscale, lush neighborhood with inviting sidewalk cafes and chic shops in and around the CocoWalk mall.

The area’s several historic landmarks include the Barnacle Historic State Park, the iconic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, and the Kampong National Tropical Botanical Garden. Sailing clubs and marinas dot the waterfront along with beautiful parks. Excellent schools are in and amongst the neighborhood and the canopy of trees offers optimal places to walk, jog, or bike.
